Position Summary

We are looking for a UI/UX Member Journey Architect to shape and optimize end-to-end digital experiences for members, candidates, and other stakeholders across ISC2 digital platforms. In line with industry standards for UI/UX architects, this role translates business objectives, user needs, and behavioral insights into clear journey maps, touchpoint strategies, information architecture, and intuitive interaction flows that improve usability and accessibility. This position will identify and document current and future-state journeys for high-priority member flows, define measurable success metrics and outcomes in partnership with enterprise architecture, analyze conversion performance, drop-offs, and friction points, and use those insights to recommend roadmap priorities, templates, and backlog improvements. The ideal candidate combines strong journey-mapping and analytical skills with user-centered design expertise to drive UI/UX best practices, improve CSAT, and deliver seamless, effective experiences across web and mobile environments.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and draft current and target journeys, touchpoints, for high priority flows. 
  • Define measurable metrics, insights and outcomes with enterprise architecture. 
  • Analytics related to member outcomes, conversions, drop/offs and friction points. 
  • Support CSAT improvements. 
  • Drive UI/UX roadmap recommendations, templates and backlog support. 
  • Perform on key deliverables, including user flows and journeys, measurable metrics, key touchpoints, UI/UX best practices, and CSAT improvements. 
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate abstract concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to translate user needs, business goals, and abstract concepts into intuitive digital experiences.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is required, with JavaScript experience, preferred.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field, preferred. Will consider candidates with a high school diploma and at least nine (9) years of professional experience in UI/UX design, journey mapping, information architecture, or digital experience design.
  • 5-8yrs professional experience in UI/UX design, journey mapping, information architecture, or digital experience design.
  • Hands-on experience with wireframing and design tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and digital content environments is important for managing and optimizing user experiences.
  • Experience with wireframe tools is required.
  • Experience with design tools such as Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS, required.
  • Experience with JavaScript, preferred.
  • Experience with CMS Tools.
  • Experience with AI principles and AI Tooling.  

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Up to 10% travel may be required.
  • Work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be neccesary to meet deadlines, deploy changes, or test implementations. 
  • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods.
  • Regular use of office equipment in a remote environment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.

 

Total Rewards

The pay range for this position is $112,947 - $151,514/Yr.

 

Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc.
