The role of Learning and Development Specialist will sit within our Human Resources Team, reporting to the HR Business Partner and working closely with other members of the HR team. You will be solely responsible for developing and driving learning & development programs across ISC2, to ensure employees have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to perform effectively in their current and future roles.
As Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of training and development activities across ISC2: developing, coordinating, planning, and implementing high-quality learning and development support to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees.
You will be passionate about providing high quality stakeholder support and be comfortable working independently, as well as with others, to ensure quality learning and development programmes are created and delivered effectively.
**Candidates should be located in Eastern Time Zone (EST) with flexibility to accommodate to international training times if/when necessary. This position is not available to residents of California.**
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills; with demonstrated confidence in developing, presenting and delivering training to both an in-person and remote audience
Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) in English, with the ability to adapt communication for stakeholders at all levels
Solid experience with designing and creating engaging and effective learning materials (e-learning, instructor led and blended), as well as experience building programs from SCORM and curated LMS modules, independently, from start to finish
Experience with an LMS System or learning technologies is a must have; experience with ADP LMS and/or Go1 is highly desirable
Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite, internet and web applications/navigation
Experience conducting surveys, interviews and job analysis as well as experience measuring training effectiveness
Change management experience and supporting change through training is desirable
Sales team specific training development and delivery, and/or working with a sales enablement specialist, is desirable
Experience with adult learning principles and curriculum design is a plus
