Position Summary

Dynamic and experienced Salesforce Software Development Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of robust Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Salesforce technologies such as APEX, Visualforce, Aura, and Lightning Web Components (LWC), alongside experience with CI/CD build processes and SAML 2.0 integration. This role will also involve troubleshooting, gap analysis, and leading a development team to ensure the seamless implementation of Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Development: Lead the development and deployment of custom Salesforce applications using APEX, Triggers, and Visualforce.
  • Aura & Lightning Web Components (LWC): Design and implement user interfaces using Aura and LWC to enhance the Salesforce experience.
  • APEX RESTful API Development: Design, build, and maintain APEX RESTful APIs to integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications.
  • Customization & Configuration: Configure and customize Salesforce applications to meet business requirements using SOQL, SOSL, and other Salesforce tools.
  • Gap Analysis & Solution Design: Perform gap analysis to identify differences between business requirements and Salesforce capabilities, and propose solutions to bridge these gaps.
  • Proof of Concept (PoC): Develop and present Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Workflows & Automation: Design and implement Salesforce workflows, process builder, and automation tools to optimize business processes.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management & Troubleshooting: Oversee and implement continuous integration and delivery using TeamCity and troubleshoot any build issues.
  • SAML 2.0 Integration: Implement and troubleshoot SAML 2.0 authentication for integrating Salesforce with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems.
  • Code Review & Optimization: Conduct and oversee code reviews to ensure best practices, efficient performance, and scalability of the solution.
  • Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead a team of Salesforce developers, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to enhance their capabilities.
  • Sprint & Agile Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables following Agile methodologies. Manage the sprint planning, track progress via JIRA, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Technical Design & Architecture: Collaborate with architects to design high-quality, scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with business needs and Salesforce best practices.
  • IntelliJ Integration: Use IntelliJ as an IDE for Salesforce development and debugging, optimizing the development workflow.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed technical documentation, and report on project statuses, risks, and challenges to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (QA, Business Analysts, DevOps) to ensure smooth delivery and integration of solutions.
  • Salesforce Best Practices: Promote and implement Salesforce coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization strategies.

Qualifications

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I preferred or expected to achieve within 12 months of hire. - Experience with complete Software Development Lifecycle. - Experience with Source control, including knowledge of git and bitbucket. - Experience with Apex or similar object-oriented language, JavaScript, and HTML. - Strong oral/written communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to articulate complex problems in simple, business-relevant terms. - Ability to manage multiple objectives and tasks simultaneously. - Keen attention to details, time frames, and results - Must understand the impact of work on other areas of the organization - Team task tracking tool proficiency, e.g. Jira - Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office and web browsers - Strong organizational and planning skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Education and Work Experience

* Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar preferred
* 8+ years in the field of Information Technology or Computer Science
* 6 years of experience with end to end Salesforce software development.

* Certified Salesforce developer highly preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands

• Up to 15% travel required. • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods • Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens • Work extended hours when necessary. • Lifting and transporting of light to moderately heavy objects – i.e. computers and peripherals.
