Position Summary

The ISC2 Event team offers year-round learning for cybersecurity professionals and is seeking an intelligent and experienced Registration and Data Specialist to lead the registration development process. The main purpose of this role is the management, planning and execution of ISC2 internal and external event registration processes and reporting. This individual will be responsible for keeping the attendee experience in mind, while implementing best practices in registration management and capturing data that will provide insights for marketing and future events. This individual will also own all weekly and post-event registration reporting data, to include data outputs, communications of wins and risks, and summarizing the ‘story’ that the data tells. The Events line of business within ISC2 is a dynamic business where innovation is a key objective. As such, we work in a frequently changing global environment and this role will need to remain flexible, adjust plans, and be highly attuned to the conference development process. Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of registration planning, including pre-planning, design, and wrap-up.
• Build and maintain all event registration sites, currently powered via CVENT.
• Handle all incoming registration-related questions from members, attendees and internal teams – specifically serving as the event team liaison with the customer experience team.
• Create and set-up attendee invoices and badges.
• Ensure all registration equipment and supplies are ordered and shipped for in-person events, and that onsite registration teams are trained on applicable systems and processes.
• Work with internal teams to ensure appropriate signage and branding of on-site registration area.
• Partner with registration provider, CVENT, to ensure timely knowledge of system enhancements, resolve development queries, and customize reporting as needed.
• Provide post-event registration data-analysis and participate in debrief and reflection meeting, to ensure continuous improvement and future enhancements across the events.
• Facilitate and coordinate the departments involved in delivering the event to ensure all data collection points are clearly scoped, incorporated, and required testing is conducted.
• Produce risk assessments based on upon weekly attendance numbers to forecast/goal.
• Continuously provide improvements to registration processes, systems, reporting and data management

Reporting
• Weekly reporting of all event attendance numbers and registration revenue
• Track and analyze data for trends – reporting on wins, risks, and other key areas for marketing and leadership
• Ensure clean and accurate registration data across all events and reports.
• Partner with finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and to address new report development (as applicable) and any audit needs.
• Pull and communicate all event-related reports such as marketing leads and duplication reports, internal event reporting (i.e. ADA and dietary needs, attendance summaries, etc.), and others
• Responsible for delivering the registration data required for financial forecasting.
• Responsible for all sponsor-driven reporting, including pre/post event opt-in leads, lead reports, etc.
• Manage all attendee CPE reporting for both live and on demand attendance.
• Maintains historical data and records.


Communications
- Manage all attendee communications, which include but are not limited to confirmation emails, know-before-you-go emails, access instructions, and event follow-ups.
- Ensure an optimal level of information flow/communication between internal departments, in order to map attendee journeys from registration to onsite and the communication in between

General Project Assistance:
• Under the direction of the leadership team, this person will be required to provide additional assistance on other project components as required within the team.
• Take direction from, and work in collaboration with, marketing and creative teams to support changes required for ISC2 CVENT-driven websites to include agenda pages, sponsorship & exhibit pages and other ad hoc pages as necessary.
• Attend onsite events, as applicable, to provide registration support.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency as a CVENT user/administrator with In-Depth CVENT registration experience is required; experience with BroadcastMed and BrightTALK platforms a bonus but not required.
• Advanced computer skills with ability to learn and use new programs/technology.
• High level of excel proficiency, with the ability to quickly learn and master new tools for data analysis.

Education and Work Experience

• University degree preferred but will consider relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3 (three) years of experience developing and managing event registration.
• At least 3 (three) years of experience with data reporting (report development and presentation delivery)

Physical and Mental Demands

• Up to 20% travel may be required
• Work normal business hours, including extended hours, evenings and weekends, when necessary
• Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods
• Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
